26 July 2013 Graceland RV Park, Memphis, Tennessee

After a very late night packing all the things I have been accumulating on the dining room table for the past 6 weeks in to the RV, we all got a decent night's sleep last night.  As we drove down Rounding Run this morning, our soundtrack for the day featured Paul Simon's "Graceland" for that is our first destination.

I am having technical difficulties with too much technology. Between the iPad, the iPhone, and the MacBook, I can't seem to get my pictures loaded, so I will just have to tell you one of the highlights of the day.  We saw the Google Maps camera car!  Maxwell quickly donned his green screen suit and she (a very young lady) gave him a thumbs up.

We loved seeing the change of landscape as we drove through the Great Smoky Mountains.  We took a little scenic drive through Memphis this evening, seeing Beale Street, riverboats on the Mississippi, horse-drawn carriages, and many models of limos. And a pyramid!?  This was not here the last time I visited Memphis. I looked it up and it apparently was built as a sports venue but it now being converted to a Bass Pro Shop.  What the heck!

Our first hookup was easy and non-eventful.  Thank goodness, as this was the part I was dreading.

The quote of the day has to be, "There needs to be a seatbelt on the toilet!"
